QNX CAR platform 2.0RR [EOS]

QNX CAR platform 2.0 RR has been declared End of Sale (EOS) as of Dec. 31, 2022. For more information see lifecycle.qnx.com.

The QNX CAR platform 2.0RR consists of the QNX CAR application platform and the QNX CAR development platform, providing the tools and technologies to build automotive infotainment systems. The title of each download identifies its version and release status, for example RR = Reference Release.

	QNX Filesystem for Safety 1.0.x
	The QNX Filesystem for Safety is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with ISO 26262 ASIL B.

	QNX Hypervisor 1.0
	The QNX® Hypervisor 1.0 is a virtualization platform that lets developers build embedded systems using QNX and Android operating systems on ARMv7 System on Chip (SoC) targets.

	QNX Hypervisor for Safety 2.0
	QNX Hypervisor for Safety 2.0 is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. It can be used as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) to realize safety goals up to ASIL D according to ISO 26262, and as a compliant item in applications up to SIL3 according to IEC 61508. It is compatible with QNX OS for Safety 2.1.

	QNX Hypervisor for Safety 2.2.x
	The QNX Hypervisor for Safety 2.2.x is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with IEC 61508 SIL3, ISO 26262 ASIL D, and IEC 62304 Class C. It can be used as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) to realize safety goals up to ASIL D according to ISO 26262, and as a compliant item in applications up to SIL3 according to IEC 61508.

	QNX OS for Medical 1.1 [EOS]
	QNX OS for Medical 1.1 has been declared End of Sale (EOS) as of Dec. 31, 2022. For more information see lifecycle.qnx.com. The QNX OS for Medical 1.1.x is compliant to IEC 62304 for use in medical devices. It supports ARMv7 and x86 architectures. The product is compatible with the latest update of QNX SDP 6.5.0 SP1. Make sure that you update to the latest version 1.1.2 (Patch ID 4888).

	QNX OS for Medical 2.0
	The QNX OS for Medical 2.0 (QOSM 2.0) product is an SDP 7.0-based RTOS solution for the medical market. It is assessed for use in applications up to Class C compliant to IEC 62304, which is an FDA-recognized functional safety standard for off-the-shelf software. This folder contains the documentation for QOSM 2.0.

	QNX OS for Safety 1.0
	The QNX OS for Safety 1.0 is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. It can be used as a Safety Element Out Of Context in items in order to realize safety goals up to ASIL D according to ISO 26262 and as a compliant item in application up to SIL3 according to IEC 61508. It is supported on ARMv7 and x86 architectures and compatible with QNX SDP 6.5.0 SP1.

QNX OS for Safety 2.1.x

The QNX OS for Safety 2.1 is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. As of QOS 2.1.2, the product is also compliant with IEC 62304. It can be used as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) to realize safety goals up to ISO 26262 ASIL-D, and as a compliant item in applications up to IEC 61508 SIL3. It’s compatible with QNX SDP 7.0. The documents in this folder apply to the latest QOS 2.1.x. For older versions, see the Archived Documentation folder.

QNX OS for Safety 2.2.x

The QNX OS for Safety 2.2 is a functional safety product assessed to be compliant with IEC 61508 SIL3, ISO 26262 ASIL D, and IEC 62304 Class C. It includes safety-qualified C and C++ toolchains as well as a certified C library. It also includes a C++ library which is safety-certified to ISO 26262 ASIL B. It can be utilized as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) in items in order to realize safety goals as per the certifications listed. It is compatible with QNX SDP 7.1.

QNX Platform for Instrument Clusters 2.0

The QNX Platform for Instrument Clusters (QPIC) 2.0 delivers new functionalities and improvements over version 1.0 of the Platform. Similar to QPIC 1.0, it includes QNX Graphics for Safety, pre-certified to ISO 26262 ASIL B and IEC 61508 SIL 2. QPIC 2.0 provides users with the capability to configure graphical checking areas on the fly and validation for animated sequence. QPIC 2.0 is supported on x86 64-bit platforms. This folder contains the documentation for QPIC 2.0.

	QNX Safety Products Defect Notification
	This folder contains documents which include the list of defects identified as potentially affecting the safe behavior of QNX Safety Products.

	QNX Software Center
	This folder contains QNX Software Center, which enables users to download and manage QNX products based on QNX Software Development Platform versions 7.x and 8.0. Licensing information and Documentation are also located here. IMPORTANT: Users will not be able to access the product until the manager/owner of the license has deployed it to them using myQNX License Manager.
